The Blüemlisalphütte is a mountain hut belonging to the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) in the canton of Bern in Switzerland .
location
It is located a good 50 meters above the Hohtürli , a pass crossing between Kandersteg and the Kiental, north of the Blüemlisalp glacier at an altitude of 2834 m above sea level. M.
Access
Access is from Oeschinensee (4 hours, 1200 meters in altitude) or from Griesalp in the Kiental (approx. 5.5 hours, 1400 meters in altitude).

history
As early as the 19th century, there was a simple place to stay overnight in the Frauenbalm under the Hohtürli, known as the "Quartierloch". In 1875 the first hut was built here to accommodate seven mountaineers. In 1894 a new hut was built on the Hohtürligrat at 2781 m and, with the renovations in 1905, 1915 and 1923, it was expanded to 70 spaces. Today's hut was built a little higher in 1947.
