The Black and Tan Glacier ( black and tan English for "black and brownish") is located in the Tordrillo Mountains in Alaska ( USA ). The glacier was named in 1958 by the US Geological Survey (USGS) .

The Black and Tan Glacier is a valley glacier in the far west of the Tordrillo Mountains. The nutrient area of ​​the glacier is 14 km northwest of Mount Gerdine at an altitude of 2500  m . The glacier, which is only 700 m wide, flows in a straight line in a north-northwest direction and ends after 16.3 km at an altitude of 600  m . The 4 km long Black and Tan Creek , a right tributary of the Skwentna River , forms the outlet of the glacier. To the west of the glacier is the river valley of the Skwentna River, to the east of the Black and Tan Glacier the Hayes Glacier flows in a northeasterly direction.
