Blackhill Enterprises
Blackhill Enterprises was a British music management company founded in October 1966 by Peter Jenner and Andrew King along with the four original Pink Floyd members - Syd Barrett , Nick Mason , Roger Waters and Richard Wright .
Blackhill Enterprises organized the first free outdoor concerts in London's Hyde Park , including the Rolling Stones concert on July 5, 1969 .
After Barrett left Pink Floyd, Jenner and King broke up with the band, but continued to mentor Barrett. Other artists overseen by Blackhill Enterprises included:
- Marc Bolan (whose future wife June Child worked as a secretary at Blackhill)
- The Edgar Broughton Band
- The clash
- Ian Dury
- Roy Harper
and other.
Blackhill Enterprises was dissolved in the early 1980s.
