Blaine Lindgren
Blaine Lindgren ( Harold Blaine Lindgren ; born June 26, 1939 in Salt Lake City ; † October 5, 2019 ) was an American hurdler who specialized in the 110-meter distance .
At the Pan American Games in São Paulo in 1963 he won gold and at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 with 13.7 s silver behind his compatriot Hayes Jones (13.6 s) and in front of the simultaneous Anatoly Michailow from the Soviet Union.
In 1962 he became English champion over 120 yard hurdles and 220 yard hurdles. He set his personal best over the 120 yard hurdles of 13.5 s on June 21, 1963 in St. Louis .
Blaine Lindgren graduated from the University of Utah .
