Blaqk Audio is a futurepop music project started in 2006 by Davey Havok and Jade Puget , who became known as members of the band A Fire Inside (AFI). The debut album CexCells sold about 29,000 copies in the US alone in the first week.
style
Unlike AFI, whose style is called Alternative Rock , Blaqk Audio is very much based on the music of the 1980s , i.e. electronic pop music . Davey Havok takes on the vocals, although you don't always recognize him as such immediately because of the many electronic alienations, and writes the lyrics, which are still very much based on those of AFI. Jade Puget writes the music, now and then you can hear him as the second voice or opposite voice of Davey, but he never sings larger parts himself.
