After the Saidapet station , the Blue Line becomes an elevated railway and crosses the Adyar River . It follows the course of Anna Salai on an elevated position. At the Alandur station, she crosses the Green Line again. The last stretch of the Blue Line runs along the Grand Southern Trunk Road to Chennai Airport , where it ends.
