Bleed the Sky is a metalcore band from Orange County , California . The band has existed since 2003. In contrast to the other bands in the genre, Bleed the Sky use progressive songwriting.

history

Bleed the Sky was founded in 2003 by singer Noah Robinson and guitarist Kyle Moorman. A short time later, the band's lineup was completed. After just two months, Bleed the Sky played their first concert as the opening act for Opeth . Between February 2003 and October 2004 Bleed the Sky played as many concerts as possible. They accompanied the hardcore punk band Integrity and quickly made a name for themselves in the metal scene . In the meantime, a demo was recorded at the end of 2003 . Nuclear Blast became aware of the band and gave the band a contract.

A short time later, the band was in the studio to record their debut album Paradigm In Entropy . The album was produced by Ben Schigel, who had already produced the demo. After completing the recording, bassist Casey Kulek left the band and was replaced by Daylen Elsey. In October 2006 Kyle Moorman left the band to do other work in the music business. He was replaced by David Culbert.

From April 11, 2007, the band was in the studio to record their second album Murder the Dance under the direction of Christian Olde Wolbers (including Threat Signal and Mnemic ) , which was released on June 13, 2008 in Europe under Massacre Records and on June 10 , 2008 Was released June 2008 in America under Nuclear Blast .
