Bleick Matthias Bleicken
Bleick Matthias Bleicken (born November 21, 1835 in Keitum ; † February 21, 1900 in Altona ) was a German lawyer, journalist and politician. He was the mayor of Ottensen .
Life
Bleick Matthias Bleicken was a son of the captain Jens Bleicken (1783-1859) and his wife Maria Engelina, née Boysen (1794-1887). His brother Matthias Bleicken was a local politician and district councilor of Tondern . Bleicken was elected in 1874 as the first mayor of the town of Ottensen, which had been independent since 1871. In 1884 he resigned for health reasons. In 1887 Ottensen was incorporated into Altona.
The politician Max Bleicken was his son.
Honor
Bleickenallee in Hamburg-Ottensen was named after him.
