Blue Hill is a place in the US state of Nebraska and is part of Webster County . The small town has, among other things, a park, an outdoor swimming pool and a golf course.

geography

The place is located in the south of the state of Nebraska not far from the border with the neighboring state of Kansas south of the Little Blue River . US Highway 281, which runs north to south, is east of Blue Hill.

history

Blue Hill was to be called Belmont first, but since another village with the name already existed in Nebraska, the village was eventually called "Blue Hill". The name is derived from its location on the hills south of the Little Blue River.
