In an interview, the singer said that the song was about the different moments in a relationship. The blue color stands for the bad moments and problems in a relationship and the color red for all happy moments and love. According to ManuElla, the message of the song is that both colors belong to every relationship, but one shouldn't mourn too much because of the blue moments, but rather enjoy the precious red moments.
