Life

Born in Tübingen, Heart immigrated to Canada with his family when he was 16 years old. In 1978 he founded his first band called "Harbinger", and a little later the "Boogie Band". After several appearances he got an offer from Ian Tyson to play in his band. In 1982 the “Boogie Band” was renamed “Final Notice” and later “Studio Venice”. Bo Heart's sister Astrid Foster became the singer of the band in 1985, which moved to Germany in the same year. After a record deal and their first single "Dont talk anymore", "Studio Venice" split and Bo Heart began a solo career. In 1987 his first solo album "Invitation" was released, produced by Curt Cress . Percussion legend Curt Cress took him into his band the "Curt Cress Clan". In 1988 and 1989 he was touring Europe with the clan.

In 1990, after a three-day audition, Heart was selected from several applicants for the Klaus Lage Band , in which he still plays today. In 1993 a tour with Uwe Ochsenknecht followed. In 1998, Hearts second album "In my Arms" was released.

A collaboration with Edo Zanki in 1996 led to the founding of 4 Your Soul in 1999 . In addition to Heart and Zanki, Xavier Naidoo , Cae Gauntt and Tommy Baldu were involved. Heart left the band in 2002 and became the keyboardist for Vicky Leandros' band in 2004 . He is currently traveling with Klaus Lage and performing with his band “Bo Heart and Friends”. He also works as a music producer .
