Bo Meister (born January 27, 1999 in Bremerhaven ) is a German basketball player . The winger was most recently part of the third division Dresden Titans squad .
career
Meister began playing basketball in the U8 youth of the BSG Bremerhaven and developed into a hopeful talent. He took part in the “Talents with Perspective” competition organized by the German Basketball Association and made it into Bremerhaven's U16 Bundesliga team and later into the U19 Bundesliga squad. In the 2014/15 season, the BSG men started playing in the 2nd regional league, and in the 2016/17 season Meister was in the Bundesliga squad for the Eisbären Bremerhaven for the first time . He made his debut in the top German division at the end of September 2016 in the game against Tübingen.
At the beginning of July 2017 he was signed by the Ehingen / Urspring syndicate ( 2nd Bundesliga ProA ). In the course of the 2017/18 game year, in which Meister with Ehingen failed to stay in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA class, he was used in 22 games and averaged two points per match.
After a year in Ehingen, Bo Meister switched to the joint program of Telekom Baskets Bonn and Dragons Rhöndorf for the 2018/2019 season , where he will primarily be used by the Dragons and will also complement the Telekom Baskets Bundesliga squad as a training player. After a year, however, they parted ways again and Meister switched to the Dresden Titans within the ProB . After ten league appearances for the Saxons with an average of 3.1 points, he left the club in December 2019 to return to Bremerhaven and devote himself more to his professional future outside of basketball.
National team
Meister played international matches for the German U16 national team, and in 2017 he was appointed to the U18 squad.
