Bob Adams (middle distance runner)

Bob Adams (born May 27, 1942 ) is a former British middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance .

In 1969 he was fourth at the European Indoor Games in Belgrade and was eliminated from the European Athletics Championships in Athens in the preliminary stages.

At the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 he reached the semi-finals starting for Wales .

In 1969 he was English indoor champion over 800 m and from 1967 to 1971 five times in a row Welsh champion over 880 yards and 800 m.
