Andreas Dahlø Wærnes (born September 18, 1990 ) is a Norwegian biathlete .

Andreas Dahlø Wærnes starts for Il Troender-lyn . His first international championship was the 2011 Junior World Championships in Nové Město na Moravě . With the ranks 44 in the individual, 19 in the sprint and 33 in the pursuit race, he could not yet make his breakthrough. In the following years his successes were limited to the national level. He had his greatest success here at the Norwegian Championships in 2012 , when he won the relay bronze medal for Sør-Trøndelag alongside Syver Nygård , Arve Lien Johnsen and Emil Hegle Svendsen . At the start of the 2014/15 season, Wærnes moved up for the first time in Norway's IBU Cup team. In Beitostølen he immediately won points in his first race, a sprint, as 31st. A little later he came seventh in an individual in Obertilliach for the first time in the top ten, in Duszniki-Zdrój he improved his best placement in a sprint race to sixth place. The first international men's championship was the 2015 European Championships in Otepää . While in fourth place in the sprint race he missed the bronze medal by only about four and a half seconds against Antonin Guigonnat from France, he achieved less good placements with 35th place in the pursuit race and 38th in the sprint. In the relay race he won the bronze medal with Haavard Bogetveit , Vegard Gjermundshaug and Lars Helge Birkeland .
