The title on the A-side Just As Much As Ever ran successfully through the hit parades, although Billboard Magazine was still less than enthusiastic on June 8, 1959: "It's an average ballad, following the current fashion." On August 10th In 1959 the song started at number 98 on the Billboard Hot 100 , and finally reached its best rating on October 12 with 32nd place. Overall, the title was placed on the Hot 100 for 22 weeks. On January 4, 1960, three weeks after its publication, Beckham's second successful title, Crazy Arms, made it to the Hot 100. After starting at number 68, it climbed to 36th. Rank and stayed in the charts for 13 weeks. In November 1959, Decca produced the long-playing record Just As Much As Ever with Bob Beckham, which included the titles of his two previous successful singles (catalog no. DL-79867).

After Crazy Arms no other Beckham titles made it to the Hot 100. Beginning in 1962, producer Bradlay moved with Beckham to the Nashville Columbia Recording Studios. Beckham's last record for the Decca label, Helpless / I'll Be Around (# 31607) , was also produced there on January 24, 1964 .
