John Robert Buczkowski (born May 5, 1964 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania - † May 23, 2018 ) was an American American football player.

Life

He attended Gateway Senior High School in Monroeville, Pennsylvania .

Buczkowski played as the defensive end in the NFL . In the NFL Draft , he was selected in the first round as the twenty-fourth player by the Los Angeles Raiders . In his rookie season he did not make a single game and was only used in the Raiders in the substitute team during the 1987 season , where he was able to achieve his first sack . In 1989 he played four games for the Phoenix Cardinals before moving to the Cleveland Browns in 1990 , where he played 15 games, three of them as a starter .

On September 29, 2005, he was arrested for violating the Narcotics Act, promoting prostitution, and participating in a corrupt organization.
