Bob Gregg

Robert Eugene "Bob" Gregg (born March 8, 1920 in Minneapolis , Minnesota , † October 17, 2002 in Vancouver , Washington ) was an American racing driver .

Career

Gregg started sporadically in runs for the AAA / USAC National Series between 1950 and 1970 . He achieved his best result in 1969 when he was eleventh in Seattle . He achieved his greatest racing success in midget car races. His only attempt to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 failed in 1950 .

His son Mike Gregg also became a successful midget car driver.
