Bobi Jones

Robert Maynard "Bobi" Jones (born May 20, 1929 in Cardiff , Glamorganshire , † November 22, 2017 ) was a Welsh writer .

Life

After attending Cathays High School in Cardiff, Jones studied Welsh at University College in Cardiff. After graduating in 1949, he first worked as a Welsh teacher. Later, he was a lecturer at Trinity College in Carmarthen and the University College of Wales in Aberystwyth . He later held the Chair of Welsh in Aberystwyth.

Bobi Jones has published poems, novels, essays and short stories, mostly writing in Welsh .
