Bobures is a village in Venezuela , the administrative seat of the Municipio Sucre, in the south of the state of Zulia .
Average temperatures fluctuate between 28 ° C and 34 ° C.
history
When the Spaniards arrived in the 16th century, they found Indians here who brought gold from the Andes to Lake Maracaibo . During the colonial era, Bobures became one of the ports from which goods from the Andean region were transported across the sea.
Trade grew particularly in the 19th century. Many goods were transported from Torondoy, Mérida, to Bobures.
In May 1913, the first sugar factory in Venezuela was built near Bobures.
