Bodo von Bodenhausen (lawyer)

Bodo von Bodenhausen (born September 30, 1633 in Görzig ; † February 18, 1700 ibid) was an Electoral Mainz Higher Regional Judge and Assessor of the Obersteueramt des Eichsfeldes and manor owner in Niedergandern , Niedertrebra , Görzig and Burgkemnitz as well as a senior of the noble family von Bodenhausen .

He was the son of Kuno Ordomar von Bodenhausen. By marrying Anna Sophie von Koseritz (June 6, 1644, † February 20, 1703) on May 26, 1661 , he had the opportunity to acquire the two manors Burg- and Neukemnitz in the Principality of Saxony-Merseburg from their siblings in this way to permanently expand the family's property, which was previously in Eichsfeld, to Saxony.

Together with his wife, he founded a hospital in Görzig in 1686.

The funeral sermon given at his funeral appeared in print in 1701 in Dessau.
