Bogdan Łazarkiewicz
Bogdan Łazarkiewicz (born October 10, 1929 in Mokrzesz, Silesian Voivodeship ) is a Polish doctor and emeritus for surgery in Wroclaw .
Life
Until 1954 Łazarkiewicz studied medicine at the Technical University of Wroclaw , the University of Wroclaw and the Medical University of Wroclaw . After doctorate (1964) and habilitation (1972), he became an associate professor (1981) in Breslau . He was Vice Rector (1984) of the Medical University of Wroclaw. As rector (1987–1990) he was appointed to the chair of surgery in 1989. He supervised 20 doctoral theses and 3 habilitations.
