Boglárka Takács gained her first international experience in 2017 when she won the silver medal in the 100-meter run at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Győr in 11.58 seconds and the final with the Hungarian 4-by-100-meter relay reached in which she could not finish her run. The following year she won the silver medal over 100 meters at the U18 European Championships there in 11.75 s and was eliminated shortly afterwards at the U20 World Championships in Tampere with 11.88 s in the first round. In the fall she took part in the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires and reached fourth place there. In 2019, she finished eighth in 11.73 s at the U20 European Championships in Borås, Sweden, and was eliminated from the season with 46.28 s in the preliminary round.
In 2019 Takács became the Hungarian champion in the 100 and 200 meter races outdoors and indoor champion over 200 meters.
