The Bogosski Mountains ( Russian Богосский хребет ) are part of the mountains of the Greater Caucasus in the southern Russian Republic of Dagestan .
The 70 km long mountain range branches off from the main ridge of the Greater Caucasus towards the north-northeast. It is bounded to the west and east by the valleys of the Andijskoje Koisu and Avarskoje Koisu rivers. The highest point is the 4151 m high Addala-Schuchgelmeer (Аддала-Шухгельмеэр). The highest peaks are glaciated . The glacier area of the Bogosski Mountains covers 20 km². Shrub vegetation made of xerophytes grows on the slopes . There are also sub-alpine and alpine meadows. The mountains consist of slate and sandstone .
