Bojan Tokič (born January 13, 1981 in Jajce , SR Bosnia and Herzegovina , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Slovenian table tennis player .

former clubs

Bojan Tokič's first foreign stop was Montpellier TT, where he won the ETTU Cup . Via Cagliari (Italy) and Ljubljana (SLO) he moved to Germany for SV Plüderhausen in the 2000/2001 season . He then returned to Slovenia and worked there in a training group for three years. In 2003 the TTC Frickenhausen signed him for the rear pair cross. Since then he has impressed with top results in the second pair cross. In 2008 he left the club heading for Italy to Pieve Emanuelle. A year later he returned to Germany for 1. FC Saarbrücken , where he extended his contract until 2017.

Greatest successes

Bojan Tokič is a 5-time Slovenian champion. In 2005/2006 he won the ETTU Cup with the TTC Frickenhausen and in the same year he became German champion and DTTB Cup winner with his team. At the European Table Tennis Championships in 2011 , he reached the semi-finals in the men's singles and doubles competition. He won the German Cup in 2012 with Saarbrücken and the ETTU Cup with Saarbrücken in 2014.

Bojan Tokič has been number one in Slovenia for many years. He has played around 80 international matches for his country so far.

Bojan Tokič is a tough attacking player. He prefers topspins on both sides a little behind the table. He also has a strong block and is very strong against defense.
