The Boktoh (or Bokta ) is a mountain in the Himalayas in the Taplejung district of the eastern Nepalese administrative region Mechi .
Boktoh, located in the Kangchenjunga Himal , has a height of 6142 m (according to other sources 6114 m ). It is 16.7 km west-southwest of the eight-thousander Kangchenjunga . The Yalung Glacier flows south of the Boktoh and the Yamatari Glacier north , both in a westerly direction.
The Boktoh is one of the trekking peaks that are listed in category "A" by the Nepal Mountaineering Association . The best travel time for an ascent is March – May and September – October.
Boktoh was first climbed on April 10, 1991 by a Slovenian mountaineering group consisting of Marko Prezelj , Andrej Stremfelj and Uros Rupar . The ascent took place from Ramze ( 4540 m ) to the south .
