The Boler is an almost 22.5 km long left tributary of the Moselle in the Moselle department .

Spring streams

Altbach

The Altbach , called Litschemter Bach on the upper reaches , rises from several spring branches east of Zoufftgen . It flows in an easterly direction past Zoufftgen. At Roussy-le-Village , around which it flows north, it turns south-east and then joins the Rhine to the Boler at an altitude of about 410  m . The Altbach is often seen as the upper reaches of the Boler .

Rhine

The Rhine rises west of Dodenom. It initially flows in an easterly direction, then changes to the south at Dodenom and finally joins the Altbach to the Boler . The Rhine is often seen as a tributary of the Bols .

course

The Boler flows first in a southeast, then in a southern direction until it reaches Haute Parthe . There it is fed by the Klingelbach on its right side . The Boler now makes a small arc, flows briefly north at Basse Parthe and then turns east, meandering strongly. It now passes the village of the same name Boler ( Breistroff-la-Grande ), then flows south past Breistroff-la-Grande-Évange. Shortly before she arrives in Fixem , the Faulbach coming from the northwest flows towards her on her left . It flows around Fixem from the north and is strengthened shortly afterwards on its left by the Beyren . The Boler now flows southwards, then runs along the western edge of Gavisse and finally flows into the Moselle on the opposite side of Malling at an altitude of about 146  m .
