The Bolstadstraumen bru is a bridge in the Norwegian municipality Vaksdal in the province ( Fylke ) Vestland that the Eidslandsvegen ( Norwegian county road  569) over here Bolstadstraumen resulting constriction of Vikafjord called.

The Bolstadstraumen bru designed by Per Tveit and opened in 1963 was one of the first network arch bridges .

The 133 m long and 8.1 m wide bridge has 84 m wide steel arches with a triangular hollow cross section and an arrow height of 15.12 m (18%), which are stiffened by a K-shaped wind bracing. The roadway girder is a thin prestressed concrete slab reinforced at the edges .
