Phil Esposito Trophy

The Phil Esposito Trophy was an ice hockey trophy that was awarded annually by the Central Hockey League (CHL) to the player who had accumulated the most scorer points during the regular season .

The award had been named after Phil Esposito since the 1979/80 season . Esposito completed 43 games for the St. Louis Braves in the league in the 1963/64 season and then became one of the best players in the National Hockey League (NHL) of the 1970s. Previously, the award was known as the CHL Leading Top Scorer . Art Stratton , Wayne Schaab and Doug Palazzari were each able to secure the award twice.
