The Central Professional Hockey League was played in a division . The team with the highest points in the regular season were the St. Paul Rangers , who also prevailed in the final games of the Adams Cup .
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Cincinnati Wings were relocated to Memphis , Tennessee , and changed their name to Memphis Wings
- The Tulsa Oilers were added to the league as an expansion team.
