action

The homeless tailor Alex Ponttin is looking for shelter in Paris. Pursued by the moronic Inspector Bruneau, he dines at the vulgar Dumont, sits down with the mother of seven illegitimate children in front of the television and lodges with the lesbian Caroline and her friend Gloria. When Caroline's sister shows up with heir-aunt Amélie to withdraw the inheritance from Caroline because of her "scandalous" way of life, Caroline pretends to be the gentle Gloria as secretary and the naked Alex as her lover and future husband. Alarmed by Caroline's neighbor, Bruneau is getting closer ...

Remarks

After Agent Trouble - accidental murder , Jean-Pierre Mocky relies again on an illustrious death. In addition to his regular actor Michel Serrault, Claude Jade, Marie-Christine Barrault and Jean-Pierre Bisson appear. The poster motif shows Serrault like the Feuillade antihero Fantomas climbing over Paris. And so he also invades the lives of his hosts and changes them.

"A pleasant film: Funny and moving, Michel Serrault, as a lay missionary, distills the calming sweetness of his philosophy. His hosts: Claude Jade as a shy and at the same time imaginative lesbian, Marie-Christine Barrault as the mother of seven children and Catherine Mouchet as the servant of a priest. Jean. Jean." -Claude Dreyfus is a burlesque policeman who sits clumsily behind him like a bloodhound with a stuffed truffle ... "(Arezki Hamouche, The Factory)

The film was shown repeatedly on German television five times in 2000 and 2007 on TV5.
