The Boom Gorge ( laces Gorge , Kyrgyz Боом капчыгайы Boom kaptschygajy , Russian Боомское ущелье Boómskoje uschtschélje ) is a narrow river valley in the north of Kyrgyzstan , in the oblasts Chu River and Issyk Kul .

The gorge cuts, in general south to north, a mountain range of Tian Shan - high mountains : west of the ravine extending the Kirgisische mountains (also called Kyrgyz Alatau; kirghiz Кыргыз Ала-Тоо ), east of the Küngöy Ala-Too Range ( kirghiz Күнгөй Ала- Тоо ).
