Bora Karadag (born May 17, 1990 in Mülheim ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .

Career

Karadag was born as a German-Turk in Mülheim an der Ruhr and began playing football at Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . In 2004 he moved to the youth team at Rot-Weiss Essen , where he was accepted into the first team at the age of 18. He played with Rot-Weiss Essen in the Regionalliga West and took part in the first round of the 2008/09 DFB Cup against Borussia Dortmund (1: 3). The following year Karadag was transferred to the 2nd team that played in the NRW League .

In the summer of 2010 Karadag moved to the reserve of Preußen Münster , which he left again for the winter break, and was a guest appearance in Turkey at Bugsaşspor , but only came on two missions there. At the beginning of the 2011/12 season, the midfielder returned to Germany and joined VfB Speldorf . In January 2012 he terminated his contract with VfB. A planned engagement in Cyprus did not materialize, instead he joined the Turkish former first division club Altay Izmir in the TFF 2nd Lig for the 2012/13 season .

In 2013, Karadag was signed by the regional division FSV Duisburg . There he developed into a regular player and goalscorer and failed in the 2015/16 season with the FSV as runner-up in the league. In the summer of 2016, a move to Turkey to the professional club Sarıyer SK was imminent, but the transfer failed and Karadag stayed in Duisburg. At the end of the 2017/18 national league season he was promoted to the league with FSV, after which he left the club and moved to the Hamborn 07 district division . During the winter break he moved again, this time to Mülheimer FC 97 . In the summer of 2019 he joined the state league club SV Scherpenberg.
