Boris Benecke (* 1976 in Flensburg ) is a German chef .

Life

Benecke learned from 1994 to 1997 at the Hotel Intermar in Glücksburg . He graduated as the best in Schleswig-Holstein. Benecke learned and worked in the Marinas restaurant in Hamburg from 1997 to 1999 and with Heinz Winkler in Aschau im Chiemgau until 2001. From 2001 to 2002 with Harald Wohlfahrt in Baiersbronn . From 2002 he was deputy head chef at the four-star Hotel Paradies in Ftan , and in 2007 he succeeded Eduard Hitzberger as head chef in the gourmet restaurant “La Bellezza” in the Hotel Paradies and earned two stars in the Michelin Guide .

From April 2009 Benecke was head chef at the Wald & Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe in Zweiflingen , which not only houses a gourmet restaurant and the Jägerstube but also a spa bistro and the Waldschänke. The Wald & Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe and the gourmet restaurant were awarded in 2010 as "Gourmet Residence l'Art de Vivre" .

At the end of 2015, Benecke announced that he was leaving Friedrichsruhe.
