Boris Gjuderow ( Bulgarian Борис Гюдеров , English transcription: Boris Gyuderov ; born February 12, 1927 in Pernik ; † May 23, 2001 ) was a Bulgarian volleyball player .
Career
Gjuderow took part as captain of the Bulgarian national team three times in world championships and five times in European championships and came four times in medal ranks . In 1964 he finished fifth at the Olympic Games in Tokyo . With his club Minjor Pernik Gjuderow was seven times Bulgarian champion and in 1965 reached the final in the European Cup . In 2019 he was inducted into the " Volleyball Hall of Fame ".
