Boris Kolb (born November 12, 1979 in Trebur ) is a German football player .

Career

The midfielder came from the youth of TSV Trebur in the youth departments of SV Darmstadt 98 , where he worked his way up to the first team. There he was a regular player in the third-class Regionalliga Süd for three seasons from 2000 to 2003 before moving to 1. FC Eschborn . After a guest appearance at Eintracht Frankfurt II , Kolb came to SV Sandhausen , where he played in 2006/07 in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg, 2007/08 in the Regionalliga Süd and in 2008/09 as captain in the 3rd division.

For the 2009/10 season he returned to SV Darmstadt 98 in the fourth-class Regionalliga Süd, where Boris Kolb took over the captain's armband. After a season of relegation battle, however, the lilies managed to achieve the championship of the Regionalliga Süd and promotion to the 3rd division in 2010/11. After the 34th matchday, the 4: 0 against FC Memmingen , captain Boris Kolb was allowed to raise the championship trophy of the Regionalliga Süd. Instead of going with the lilies in the 3rd division, Kolb decided to accompany the relegated SV Wehen Wiesbaden II 2011/12 in the fifth class Hessenliga, but then played four games in the first team in the 3rd division. After one season he moved to the regional division FC Bayern Alzenau . In the 2013/2014 season Kolb played at VfB Ginsheim in the Darmstadt group league , after which he ended his active career.
