Boris Nikolajew ( Russian Борис Николаев ) is a former Soviet ski jumper .

Career

Nikolayev made his international debut at the Four Hills Tournament in 1957/58 . After he reached a weak 39th place in the opening competition in Oberstdorf , he surprised the competition with fifth place on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . After the best result of his career, Nikolajew only got places in the midfield in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen . In the overall ranking he reached 23rd place with 772.3 points.

In his second and last Four Hills Tournament in 1963/64 , he could only build on the result of 1957/58 with difficulty. The best result was seventh on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen. In the overall standings, Nikolayev came in 26th.
