Borivoje Đorđević ( Serbian - Cyrillic Боривоје Ђорђевић ; born August 2, 1948 in Belgrade , Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia ) is a former Yugoslav football player .

Football career

Borivoje Đorđević played eleven years in his home country for FK Partizan Belgrade , where he scored a total of 24 goals in 194 appearances. In his first season he was with Belgrade in the final of the European Cup of National Champions 1965/66 , where they lost 2-1 to Real Madrid . He then moved to Greece to Panathinaikos Athens in 1976 . In the 1976/77 season Đorđević was Greek champion with Athens . In addition, they won the Greek Football Cup in 1977 with a 2-1 win in the final against PAOK Thessaloniki and the Balkan Cup with a 2-1 win in the final against Slavia Sofia . In 1978 he joined the German second division club Eintracht Trier , for whom he completed 52 second division games over the next two years and scored eight goals. He then ended his career in 1980.

Đorđević was used in nine games of the Yugoslav national team. He made his debut on November 12, 1967 in a 4-0 victory over Albania . Đorđević took part in the European Championship in 1968 in Italy .
