Borok ( Ukrainian Борок ; until 2019 Бірки Birky , Russian Борки Borki , Polish Borek ) is a village in the Ukrainian Lviv Oblast with about 150 inhabitants (2001).

Borok belongs administratively to the district municipality of Tartakiv in the northeast of Sokal Rajon and was called Birky until October 2019 . On October 30, 2019, the village was given the place name Borok by a resolution of the Verkhovna Rada .

The 0.4 km² large town is located at an altitude of 213  m on the bank of the Spassivka ( Спасівка ), a 25 km long tributary of the Western Bug , 2 km northeast of the community center Tartakiv , 11 km east of the district center Sokal and about 90 km north of Lviv Oblast Center .
