Bosque Farms is a city in Valencia County in the US state of New Mexico in the United States with 3931 inhabitants ( 2000) .

The city is located about 10 km south of Albuquerque , east of Historic Route 66 in the north of the county , slightly northwest of the geographic center of New Mexico and has a total area of 10.2 km² with no significant water surface.
Demographic data
According to the 2000 census , Bosque Farms had 3,931 people in 1,422 households and 1,126 families. The population density was 385 inhabitants per km². The racial the population was composed of 82.68% White, 0.61% African American, 1.88% Native American, 0.20% Asian and other groups.
Of the 1,422 households, 33.9% had children and adolescents under the age of 18 living with them. 67.5% were married couples living together, 8.0% were a single mother, 20.8% were non-families, 16.5% consisted of single households, and 6.1% had someone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.76 and the average family size was 3.10 people.
In relation to the entire town, the population consisted of 26.0% residents under 18 years of age, 6.2% between 18 and 24 years of age, 25.4% between 25 and 44 years of age, 29.4% between 45 and 64 years of age 12.9% were 65 years of age or over. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females there were 98.2 males. For every 100 women aged 18 or over there were statistically 95.6 men.
