Name origin
The street, which began in 1854 and was completed in 1900, was named in 1894 after the French playwright , poet and librettist Émile Augier (1820–1889).
history
The boulevard was originally part of the Avenue de la Petite-Muette , which in 1854 between the Chaussee de la Muette and the Rue Gustave Nadaud to the homes of Rue Gustave Nadaud to tie was opened and her access to the Rue de la Pompe to give; it wasn't finished until 1900.
