Bouro (pronounced Buro ) is a settlement in northern Chad in the Tibesti region . Bouro is located in a side valley of the Enneri Zoumri, the most fertile part of the Tibesti. The direct neighbor oases are Ouoïchi (3.5 km north), Ouïdi (4 km north-west) and Doui (Yèntar, 6 km north). The slightly larger Edimpi oasis is 9 km east of Bouro.
At 1,459 m above sea level, Bouro is one of the highest places in the Tibesti. Nevertheless, there is a desert climate , with an average of just 24 mm of precipitation per year. The annual average temperature is 20 ° C.
