The Bowman River is a river in the east of the Australian state of New South Wales .

It rises in the Bowman State Forest northeast of Barrington Tops National Park . From there it flows east and flows into the Gloucester River at the settlement of Tugrabakh , north of the city of Gloucester .

The small town of Upper Bowman is located on the upper reaches .
