Boxholm is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Östergötland County and the historical province of Östergötland . The place is the main town of the municipality of the same name .
The Svartån river flows through the village on its way from Sommen to Roxen, overcoming a total gradient of 26 meters. This was previously used to generate energy.
