The bridge Am Schiffbleek is a listed bridge in Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

The bridge is located southeast of the historic Quedlinburg district of Westendorf at the northern end of the Am Schiffbleek street . It bridges the Mühlgraben and represents the south-eastern access to Westendorf. The Wassertorstraße begins on the Westendorf side . Wordgarten park is located northeast of the bridge .

Architecture and history

In the Quedlinburg monument register , the bridge is registered as a historical building under registration number 094 84912. The bridge was not yet listed in the list of monuments published in print in 1998. The road leading over the bridge is also approved for motor vehicle traffic.

The bridge was built according to an inscription on its upstream southwest side in 1873. It is built as a flat vault made of natural stone and consists of only one arch. On the southwest side, paved historic streets lead down to the stream on both sides of the river.
