Bridge Quarter is within the boundaries of the core city Wertheim leavened living space in the Main-Tauber-Kreis in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

history

The Brückenviertel residential area was opened up around 1970 in the core town of Wertheim.

The top tower was built in the Tauberviertel as a watch and watch tower and is a listed building .

Synagogues in the bridge district

After the Jews were resumed in 1449, the third synagogue in Wertheim was built near the pointed tower in the Brückenviertel. It was located within the city walls and was rebuilt in 1592/93. The fifth synagogue building in Wertheim was built in 1798/99 and was located in the same place as the two previous buildings ( ).
