Branden Oliver (born May 7, 1991 in Miami , Florida ) is a retired American football player . He was active for the San Diego / Los Angeles Chargers in the National Football League from 2014 to 2017 . Most recently he played for the Salt Lake Stallions in the Alliance of American Football (AAF). His position was running back or kick returner .

Personal

Brendan Oliver attended Miami Southridge High School. He was captain of the high school team for two years in a row.

He is the cousin of the football player Roscoe Parrish , who played for the Buffalo Bills .

Career

NFL

After Oliver couldn't find a club after the 2014 NFL Draft, he received a contract offer from the San Diego Chargers for two years in May . Oliver managed his first two touchdowns on October 6, 2014 in the third game for the Chargers against the New York Jets .

On August 12, 2018, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts , but was released before the start of the season.

AAF

On January 12, 2019, Oliver signed a contract with the Salt Lake Stallions in the Alliance of American Football . He was placed on the Injured Reserve List on March 8, 2019 .
