Branislav Skladaný (born November 16, 1982 in Dubova , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak volleyball player .

Career

Skladaný began his volleyball career in 1990. Like his father and brother, he became a setter. In the Czech Republic he was three times national champion, most recently in 2010 with Brownhouse Volleyball Kladno . Then the German Bundesliga club Generali Haching signed him as the successor to Patrick Steuerwald . In his first season with Bayern, Skladaný won the DVV Cup . In 2012 he was German runner-up and in 2013 again German cup winner. Then Skladaný moved to France to Nantes Rezé Métropole Volley.

The Slovak, who after fifty international matches initially concentrated on studying business administration , played in 2011 with the national team of the European League winners at the European Championships in Austria and the Czech Republic . The team won their preliminary group before knocking out defending champions Poland in the quarterfinals.
