The Brantenbach or Rennbach (Italian: Rio Vallarsa ) is a 14 kilometer long stream that flows through the Branten Valley in South Tyrol . Its catchment area covers about 29 km².

Source brooks of the Brantenbach arise on the Weißhorn at an altitude of 2120 m and then flow over the Regglberg in the municipality of Nova Ponente . At the exit of the Brantental, it reaches the lowlands at Laives at 230 m and finally flows into the Branzoller Graben . The biological water quality has been considered to be very good since the Deutschnofen sewage treatment plant was built in the early 1990s.
