Lohmen Brewery
The Lohmen Brewery was a beer brewery in Lohmen in Saxon Switzerland .
history
H. Büttner founded the brewery Brauerei & Mälzerei H. Büttner in 1872 . Brewmaster Otto Hoyer took over this in 1888 and renamed it the Lohmen Brewery . In 1935 it was taken over by Hans Hoyer.
In 1939 the brewery produced top-fermented beers and lemonades , it had a brewhouse and its own malt house . Three workers and employees produced 1400 hectoliters annually.
In 1939, Hoyer had to stop brewing operations due to the war. In 1947 the brewery was resumed. In 1960 the brewery was integrated into the PGH of beverage manufacturers as Basteiquell Lohmen . In 1972 it was nationalized.
Until 1974 they produced under the name VEB (K) Basteiquell Lohmen , then as VEB Basteiquell Lohmen . She produced for VEB Basteiquell Lohmen in VEB Margon in VEB Dresdner Breweries and from 1978 as VEB Basteiquell Lohmen in VEB Beverage Supply Pirna in VE Beverage Combine Dresden .
1985 then contract production took place as VEB Feldschlösschen Brewery Dresden in VE Beverage Combine Dresden, BT Basteiquell Lohmen . The production now consisted only of the Lohmener Doppel-Caramel malt beer . In 1987 the brewery was closed.
