The Brown Point is a small and rocky Cape on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It is on the south bank of Wilcock Bay .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1988. It is named after the German geologist Hans-Martin Braun from the University of Frankfurt , visiting scientist at the Law Racoviță station during a campaign of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions in 1987.
